What are trichomes?
Trichomes
These tiny, microscopic bubbles contain hundreds of different cannabinoids (including CBD and THC) and fragrant terpenes that make our favorite cannabis strains unique 🌱✨
Trichomes usually act as a defense mechanism. When female cannabis plants start to flower, they often become vulnerable to various insects and animals, as well as environmental variables such as UV rays. Trichomes deter animals (but not all) because their bitter taste and strong aroma make cannabis flowers simply - unpalatable 😃
To be honest, it's a very beautiful phenomenon in cannabis plants.
